Emergency Medicine Physician - Florida Keys | 12-Hour Shifts | Exceptional Work-Life Balance

Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to diverse patient populations in a modern emergency department setting
Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies with strong procedural competency
Collaborate effectively with Advanced Practice Providers, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Utilize Cerner EMR and Dragon voice recognition systems for efficient patient documentation
Manage emergency department patient flow and ensure quality patient outcomes
Perform emergency procedures including but not limited to intubations, central lines, and laceration repairs
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with emergency medicine best practices
Job Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with emergency department experience
Active Florida Medical License or eligibility to obtain licensure
Current certifications in ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Emergency Medicine experience strongly preferred
Proficiency with Cerner EMR system and experience managing diverse emergency cases
Strong procedural skills and clinical decision-making abilities
Adaptable, patient-focused personality with excellent collaborative skills
Commitment to delivering high-quality emergency care in a community hospital setting
