On offer is the opportunity to be an integral part mechanical product design for advanced photovoltaic modules and manufacturing processes, working on cutting-edge renewable energy technology while taking ownership of design, validation, prototyping, and production integration.

This company is a US-based deep-tech solar start-up scaling breakthrough photovoltaic technology. They are developing next-generation solar materials through advanced roll-to-roll manufacturing and perovskite technology, with the goal of dramatically improving solar panel production efficiency and accelerating the transition to cleaner energy.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. This is a high-impact role where you will influence product development from early-stage concepts through prototype builds, testing, and manufacturing scale-up.

This role would suit a technically driven Mechanical Design Engineer who enjoys hands-on problem solving, working with prototypes, owning designs, and contributing to innovative technology within a growing company.

The Role:

• Design and development of next-generation solar modules, components, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment
• Create and optimize 3D CAD designs using SolidWorks and other CAD platforms
• Perform mechanical analysis, including FEA, stress analysis, and design validation
• Develop prototypes, test assemblies, and improve designs based on performance data

The Candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline
• Mechanical design experience within product development, manufacturing, or advanced engineering environments
• Strong experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software
• Experience with FEA, structural analysis, stress analysis, or mechanical validation
