Job Title: Purchasing Coordinator Salary Range: $55,000.00 To $60,000.00 Annually Location: North Bergen, NJ, US Job Type: Full Time Employee Department: East SCM Job Summary The Purchasing Coordinator will handle all import operations, domestic purchasing, and invoice verification while building and maintaining relationships with vendors and internal departments. Primary Responsibilities Import/Domestic purchasing Issue on‑time purchase orders Coordinate import and domestic purchasing operations from forecasting, purchase order creation, monitoring, and issue resolution related to cargo moving from door to door with freight forwarders, shippers, customs brokers, drayage truckers, and other vendors Report and follow up on compliance issues Maintain precise records of all ordered products to prevent shortages and excess inventory Process orders, enter PO information into the system, print the ordered list, and hand over to warehouse Verify invoices against quantity and amount upon delivery Check receiving shipments and track all inventory with the warehouse Seek new vendors to expand and secure vendor pools and obtain competitive prices Analyze purchasing price trends and resolve any issues related to price changes Play an active role in ensuring seamless product flow throughout the supply chain Coordinate new product purchasing with marketing, R&D, and other departments Support and cooperate with production and warehouse teams Participate in monthly physical inventory checks Qualifications College BS degree or equivalent experience 3–5 years of purchasing or logistics experience, with food industry experience preferred Strong communication skills Bilingual in English and Korean (mandatory) Ability to manage high‑stress situations and prioritize tasks Multi‑tasking ability Team‑oriented mindset Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs without restrictions “Watch and learn” mentality Computer skills, including Excel and Outlook Employee Benefits Medical/Dental/Vision/Life insurance fully covered by the company from day 1 Short‑term and long‑term disability leave (short‑term 100% covered) 401(k) company match Monthly life allowance reimbursements Cellphone reimbursements Employee discounts (40 % off CJ products & services) Paid time off—generous and increases by tenure Paid creative leave (up to 4 weeks based on years of service) Paid holidays—11 days Employee club activities (movie, e‑sports, book, sports club, etc.) #J-18808-Ljbffr
