Key Account Manager

This is a remote position that requires you to work closely and collaboratively with a team. About Townsquare Ignite Founded in 2010, Townsquare Ignite products and solutions are a combination of our owned and operated digital properties, our proprietary digital programmatic advertising platform, and an in‑house demand and data management platform collecting valuable proprietary first‑party data, and is the fastest growing revenue and profit driver of Townsquare Media. Our Competitive Advantage First-Party Data Collection: As a large-scale digital content publisher, we collect valuable first‑party data from our audience, minimizing reliance on third‑party data sources. Proprietary Advertising Technology: We offer a proprietary advertising technology platform, including an in‑house demand‑side buying platform (DSP). Integration with Multiple Platforms: Our platform integrates with over 15 digital advertising buying platforms and provides access to all major advertising exchanges and mobile apps. Massive Reach: We have access to over 250 billion impressions per day. Targeted Solutions and Customer Service: We provide hyper‑targeted advertising solutions and offer white glove customer service. Multi‑Platform Delivery: Our campaigns are delivered across desktop, mobile, apps, connected TV, email, paid search, and social media platforms, utilizing display, video, and native executions. Creative Support: We have a full‑service design and creative team to help clients craft the right message and develop powerful creative for their campaigns. The Key Account Manager Opportunity The Key Account Manager (KAM) serves as the primary point of contact for Townsquare Ignite’s most valuable accounts. KAMs focus on fewer accounts with significantly larger billing, delivering a high‑touch, white‑glove client experience. This role is highly client-facing — you will join client calls, present performance reports, and serve as a trusted advisor to drive strategy, optimizations, and opportunities for expansion. The ideal candidate is consultative, detail‑oriented, and confident explaining digital marketing performance in a way that inspires client trust and long‑term partnership. Success in this role is measured by client satisfaction, account retention, upsell growth, and reduced campaign cancellations. Responsibilities Serve as the primary strategic partner for high‑value accounts, fostering long‑term relationships. Confidently join and lead client calls to present campaign results, performance insights, and recommendations. Advise clients on opportunities for campaign optimizations, cross‑channel expansion, and increased ROI. Partner with sales leaders to identify growth opportunities within key accounts. Campaign Pre‑Launch Ensure campaign proposals align with client objectives and business goals. Oversee targeting and strategy, tailoring solutions to fit the unique needs of key accounts. Guide clients through setup requirements (creative, pixels, KPIs), ensuring campaigns are fully prepared for launch. Collaborate with internal teams such as Buying and Creative to ensure an efficient and effective campaign launch. Campaign Post‑Launch Act as the ongoing client‑facing liaison for campaign performance, optimizations, revisions, and renewals.
