School Speech Language Pathologist - Los Angeles, CA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in the greater Los Angeles area as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time position is set to begin in August 2026 and continue through early June 2027, offering a meaningful role in shaping the communication skills of diverse young learners across elementary and secondary settings. Enjoy the flexibility of itinerant assignments, working across 1 to 4 schools (typically 2), all within a commutable one-hour or 20-mile cap. Primary caseloads range from 55 to 60 students, offering you the chance to use your expertise and creativity in both assessment and direct therapy. Assignments are exclusively onsite, and no virtual options are available. CFs must secure onsite supervision. Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required Active and posted California SLP license Valid CTC documentation (preliminary or clear SLP credential, or Certificate of Clearance) Previous school-based experience highly preferred (but not required) Willing and able to travel to multiple campuses within assignment parameters Strong communication and collaboration skills Only SLPsno SLPA placements at this time Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals Conduct assessments, reimbursable up to $2500 for materials Collaborate with special education teams and on-campus case managers Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings This full-time role is scheduled for 40 hours per week, from 7:30am to 4:00pm, with no part-time options.
