Human Resources Generalist

Overview NC State University is hiring a Human Resources Generalist within Campus Enterprises. The role involves leading recruitment efforts, supporting employee onboarding, collaborating with hiring managers, ensuring compliance with employment laws and university policies, and managing HR operations such as payroll support and leave administration to build a thriving workplace. Department: Campus Enterprises, which includes NC State Dining, NC State Stores, Lonnie Poole Golf Course, Student Centers, and One Card Office. Responsibilities Lead recruitment for SHRA, EPS, and temporary roles including job fairs and community partnerships. Serve as primary contact for employment requests and manage staffing needs efficiently, including background checks. Advise hiring managers and ensure recruitment compliance with federal, state, and university policies. Collaborate with broader University HR for alignment on best practices and procedures. Develop and deliver training sessions for supervisors and recommend HR procedure improvements. Maintain accurate HR data entry in the HRIM system and support payroll and leave administration via WolfTime system. Qualifications Strong knowledge of Federal and State employment laws and University policies required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required; HR experience preferred.
