Patient Support Specialist - Hybrid

Updated: June 23, 2026 Location: Cary, NC, United States Job ID: 16543-OTHLOC-Cc5wYfwv Overview In this role, you will support patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and clinic personnel within a virtual pharmaceutical contact center environment. You will serve as a key point of contact by providing timely, accurate, and empathetic support across multiple communication channels. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility to work remotely 3 days per week and onsite at our Morrisville, NC corporate office 2 days per week. Responsibilities Respond to inbound calls, emails, and other patient inquiries in a timely, professional, and compliant manner Build strong relationships with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and clinic staff through active listening, empathy, and solution-oriented communication Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve patient concerns while escalating complex issues to appropriate internal teams when necessary Accurately document patient interactions and maintain detailed records within the contact center system Adhere to all company policies, regulatory requirements, and data privacy standards related to pharmaceutical contact center operations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 1–3 years of experience in customer service, call center operations, or a related field Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate information to diverse audiences Flexibility to work adjusted schedules or additional hours, as needed Desired Additional Qualifications Experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industry Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and verbal) Benefits The benefits for this position will include a competitive compensation package, Health benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision, Company match 401k, flexible paid time off (PTO) and sick time.
