Production SupervisorWe are creating the tools to convert a resistant Architecture Engineering and Construction Industry into a smart and efficient machine. For those motivated to play a part in that change, this is an exciting time. In short, we take the most complicated parts of a hospital – headwalls, surgery ceilings, MEP racks, Central Energy Plants, exam rooms, bathrooms, etc. - designs them so that they can be removed from conventional construction, manufactures them as modules, transports and inserts them into the construction process to yield higher quality buildings that open significantly faster than those conventionally constructed. We are both service and product that includes architecture, engineering, manufacturing, logistics and construction.We are looking for a skilled Production Supervisor to lead a team of 30+ operators. You will manage the daily production schedule to meet takt time, ensure continuous flow with minimal rework, and remove constraints to optimize production. As a leader, you'll provide training, feedback, and support to team members while modeling expected behaviors. You will solve problems using tools like 5 Whys and work with cross-functional teams to implement root cause solutions. Additionally, you'll drive continuous improvement, communicate production plans, and uphold high standards for attendance, safety, quality, and productivity, while facilitating the training of new employees.Oversee and manage a production line of 30+ operatorsEnsure daily production schedules meet takt time requirementsMaintain real-time public visual records of production statusProactively identify and address constraints to optimize workflowEnsure continuous production flow with appropriate resources and minimal reworkLead by example, modeling expected behaviors and fostering a positive work environmentProvide team members with the right balance of challenge, support, training, and feedback for successUnderstand and manage all skills, tasks, and time requirements for production activitiesUse problem-solving tools like 5 Whys and KT to identify and address issuesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (material handlers, process engineering, production scheduling) to solve problemsIdentify root causes and develop solutions to resolve production challengesDrive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure execution with the production teamCommunicate production plans, updates, and corrective actions effectivelyAddress attendance, safety, quality, and productivity concerns with the teamLead training for new employees to ensure they are prepared for successJob Skills & Qualifications3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environmentProven experience in managing and leading teamsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsHigh-energy, hands-on leader who leads by exampleProficient in MS OfficeExcellent communication and presentation skillsExperience in building or leading production or station teamsStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesParticipation in Leaders in Training program preferred
