The Mechanical Maintenance Mechanic I performs maintenance, installation and repair work on mechanical systems, equipment and components. This work is performed under general supervision and using the tools and techniques of mechanical technology.

Hours : Full time (40 hours), Day Shift, Weekdays

Location : Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD 21287

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a MD approved Electrical Apprenticeship Program.
• 5 years related work experience. The full-time equivalent spent in an approved program may count toward the 5-year work experience requirement.
• Knowledge of electrical techniques, codes, procedures and materials.
• Knowledge of safety rules, procedures and practices, including the proper use of safety equipment as defined by OSHA and industry standards.

Salary Range: Minimum $28.07/hour - Maximum $32.57/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
