divh2Senior Accounts Payable Administrator/h2pIndependent Can Co Belcamp - Belcamp, MD 21017/ph3Overview/h3pSalary Range $26.70 - $32.66 Hourly Job Shift Day/ph3Description/h3pThe Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for the full accounts payable process including processing vendor invoices, outgoing payments, posting to the general ledger, month-end and year-end reporting, and other related duties./ppEssential Duties And Responsibilities:/pulliProcess vendor invoices through company ERP system or AP Automation software/liliEnsure proper general ledger coding of all invoices by site/liliInvestigate and resolve vendor invoice issues/liliManage purchase order deposits against contract value/liliProcess all outgoing payments via ACH, wire, online bill-pay, credit card and other methods/liliInvestigate bank Positive Pay and Unauthorized ACH transaction issues/liliContact vendors to obtain banking information for electronic payments/liliQuarterly reconciliation of Open Vouchers Payable (receipts that have not been invoiced)/liliManage and reconcile Petty Cash Fund/liliProcess Monthly P-Card/liliProcess Quarterly Royalty Payments/liliProcess Year End 1099s/liliAll other duties as assigned/li/ulpSupervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities./ph3Qualifications/h3pTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Successful accomplishment of duties and responsibilities requires the following:/pulliMinimum 3 years of experience with full cycle AP utilizing an AP Automation System/liliStrong understanding of AP processes and best practices./liliBasic Microsoft Excel Skills/liliEffective written and oral communication skills to collaborate with internal and external parties./liliAbility to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment/liliHighly organized with a focus on problem solving and good time management/liliOvertime may be required to meet deadlines/li/ulpEducation and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two years of general office experience./ppLanguage Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondences. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations./ppMathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
