Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a meaningful contract position supporting students as a School Psychologist at a K-12 charter school in the Los Lunas area. With a caseload of about 500 students ranging from kindergarten through high school, this role provides diverse opportunities to foster academic and emotional growth throughout the 2026-2027 school year.

This position offers a stable 37.5-hour work week from early August through the end of May, allowing you to truly connect with the school community.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current New Mexico Public Education Department (NM PED) license as a School Psychologist
• Experience working in a school-based setting with K-12 students
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational, communication, and assessment skills
• Comfortable using virtual platforms for meetings and collaboration

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and provide recommendations to support student academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Collaborate with staff and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services as needed
• Maintain thorough records and reports in accordance with state and district guidelines
• Participate in virtual panel interviews and adhere to timely onboarding requirements, including background checks
