This contract position, located near Bosque Farms, offers the opportunity to work in a close-knit charter school environment, serving around 500 students across various grade levels. In this position, you'll play a key role in supporting students’ well-being and academic success. Your expertise in assessment, counseling, and consultation will be invaluable as you address a wide range of student needs and collaborate with dedicated educators and families.

What we’re seeking:

• Active New Mexico PED license required
• Previous experience working as a school psychologist in K-12 settings
• Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
• Comfort working with diverse student populations and age groups
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and staff
• Capable of managing a varied caseload within a charter school context
• Ability to adapt to virtual and in-person collaboration as needed

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to support special education eligibility and student needs
• Implement interventions and provide counseling for students
• Consult with teachers, families, and administrators
• Develop and participate in individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Contribute to a proactive, inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and document student progress
