Payroll and Accounting Specialist

Our client in Keene, NH, is looking for a Payroll and Accounting Specialist to join their team! Qualifications Associate degree in accounting or finance and 1+ years of accounting experience, including general ledger, accounts payable, and payroll, or equivalent combination of education and experience Non-profit experience preferred Solid understanding of accounting software and Microsoft Excel Professional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently Ability to maintain confidentiality Benefits $34-36/hour depending on skills and experience Full-time, direct-hire opportunity with excellent benefits Possibility for hybrid schedule once trained Duties Process payroll Prepare and post journal entries Reconcile accounts Assist with budgets and audit activities Make cash depositsPrepare reports Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Ensure regulatory compliance Other tasks as assigned #J-18808-Ljbffr Masiello Employment Services
