Benefits Specialist | Human Resources

Overview Logan Health is seeking a detail‑driven, compassionate, and solutions‑focused Benefits Specialist to join our dynamic Human Resources team. Responsibilities Serve as a subject‑matter expert for benefit‑related inquiries and provide exceptional support to employees across the health system. Administer benefit programs such as tuition reimbursement, extended time bank (ETB) programs, and retirement plans in alignment with policy and compliance standards. Partner with HR team members, vendors, and payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of enrollments, terminations, changes, and leave‑related timekeeping. Monitor benefit usage trends, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and assist in benefit communications to promote employee engagement and awareness. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education/experience. Minimum two (2) years of experience in employee benefits; healthcare experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and mail merge functions; strong data analysis and tracking capabilities. Knowledge of benefit compliance regulations (FMLA, ERISA, HIPAA, etc.) is a plus. Organized, approachable, and detail‑oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A team player who demonstrates integrity, empathy, and a drive for continuous improvement.
