Job Overview Harambee Christian School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Classroom Teacher to join our team. As a middle school teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on young people. You will work in a Christ-centered environment, providing education and support to students as they navigate their academic journey. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment where students feel supported and encouraged to learn Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure the holistic development of each student Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and stay current with educational trends Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education (preferred) or related field Strong understanding of education principles and best practices Moral and spiritual requirements of deacons as outlined in 1 Timothy 3 Cultural awareness and sensitivity Passion for working with inner-city youth and helping them succeed Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Salary Range: $43,000 - $59,000 per year Please note that Harambee Christian School is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, or any other factor.
