This is a contract opportunity serving both General Education and Special Education populations in a supportive onsite environment. You’ll play a central role in fostering a positive school climate, facilitating student growth, and supporting academic engagement alongside a dedicated team of educators and administrators.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work
• Valid Michigan state Social Worker licensure
• Experience working with K-12 students within a school environment
• Strong clinical assessment abilities and intervention expertise
• Effective communicator, adept at building relationships with students, staff, and families
• Proven ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team

Position Responsibilities:

• Serve as the 504 Plan Coordinator, ensuring compliance and championing accommodations for student success
• Provide social-emotional counseling and direct behavioral interventions for students in need
• Partner with teachers, administrative staff, and families to develop and implement effective support plans
• Address the needs of general and special education students, tailoring interventions accordingly
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation consistent with district and state guidelines
• Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive, and safe school culture for all learners
