They play a central role in executing and supervising compliance strategies, while building a culture of compliance within the organization. The manager also provides leadership and guidance to the compliance team while driving process improvements and strategic initiatives with minimal oversight.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesImplement and improve policies to ensure compliance with regulationsLead the management of SOX compliance efforts and processesSupervise a team of compliance analysts and provide guidance and performance feedbackDevelop strategic initiatives and compliance policies for trade complianceServe as lead liaison between Trading Risk Management and external stakeholdersAnalyze trading activities for compliance with FERC and CFTC regulationsMonitor compliance metrics and prepare reports for senior executive reviewFacilitate and participate in key compliance-related decision makingRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, or related fieldMinimum 8+ years of experienceMinimum 1-2+ years in a leadership roleNextEra Energy offers a wide range of benefits to support our employees and their eligible family members.
