This position involves providing specialized care for women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods at a busy hospital facility. The role requires delivering high-quality patient care within a dynamic, team-oriented environment to ensure positive outcomes for both mother and baby. Job Details Shift Time: Days Shift Hours: 12 hours Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours Position Description: Provides labor and delivery nursing services, including antepartum, delivery, and postpartum care, as well as circulating for C-section procedures and baby care in a hospital setting. Required Qualifications: Current (within previous 2 years) Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring (Fetal Monitoring), L&D experience, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience at facilities with 3000 births per year. Additional Information: Typical responsibilities include labor, delivery, recovery, triage, antepartum care, circulating for C-section, and supporting breastfeeding. Unit operates with 24-7 hospitalist and midwife coverage, anesthesia, and neonatologist support.
