Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2500.92 Opportunity: RN - Maternal Infant Unit Job Details: • Work in a 24-bed Maternal Infant Unit providing labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care • Day shift staff includes labor nurses, nursery nurses, OB techs, secretaries, leadership, and educators • Night shift staff includes labor nurses, nursery nurses, OB techs, and secretaries • Patient ratios: labor 1:1, postpartum 5-6:1, nursery 5-6:1 • Perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections, antepartum patient care, newborn care, and postpartum care • Work with GE fetal monitors and EMR systems including Meditech and CPN • Every third weekend required with 12 hours of on-call per 4-week schedule • Minimum 2 years of labor experience required • 2 years of labor experience with high birth volume LDRP background preferred • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification • Dress code: Navy blue scrubs with pink badges for infant security Facility: This facility is a well-established hospital offering comprehensive maternal and infant care services. The Maternal Infant Unit is located on the third floor of the Atrium building and supports a full range of obstetric services including labor and delivery, postpartum care, and newborn care. The unit maintains a dedicated and experienced multidisciplinary team committed to providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns.
