Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Expressions Unlimited Co. — Albuquerque, NM
Are you a caring, dependable person looking to make a real difference in someone's life? Expressions Unlimited is looking for compassionate Direct Support Professionals to join our team supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in a warm, home-like setting.
What You'll Do:
- Provide day-to-day personal care and support to residents (bathing, dressing, grooming, medication reminders, etc.)
- Help residents build independence and life skills (cooking, budgeting, hygiene, social skills)
- Offer companionship, encouragement, and a positive presence throughout the day
- Support residents in community activities, appointments, and outings
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment
- Document care and progress according to state requirements
Schedule:
- Morning, evening, and weekend shifts available
- Full-time and part-time positions open
What We're Looking For:
- A caring, patient, and reliable attitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check
- Valid driver's license
