Occupational Medicine Physician – Locum Tenens Opportunity

Diagnose and treat work-related injuries and perform pre-placement DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical exams for private companies and governmental agencies. Evaluate and treat walk-in urgent care patients, perform in-office procedures, communicate with employers, and provide medical guidance. Complete all documentation promptly and accurately.

Opportunity Highlights

• Occupational Medicine locum tenens, full-time
  
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or until last patient
  
• Multiple centers in South Bay, California — primarily Sunnyvale and San Jose
  
• Coverage: Immediate availability required; floating between South Bay centers
  
• Includes in-office procedures and occupational health screenings
  

Clinical Scope

• Diagnosis and treatment of work-related injuries
  
• Pre-placement DOT physicals, public safety exams, and surveillance physicals
  
• Evaluation and management of walk-in urgent care patients
  
• In-office procedures
  
• Employer communication and medical guidance
  
• Timely documentation in the EMR
  

Practice Environment Work across multiple occupational health centers in the South Bay region, primarily Sunnyvale and San Jose, delivering rapid clinical assessments, occupational injury treatment, and health screenings for private and public sector clients.

Requirements

• MD degree
  
• Active California medical license
  
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Occupational Medicine
  
• Valid California DEA license
  
• BLS certification
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in occupational medicine and DOT physicals
  
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
