Commissioning & Warranty Project Manager

Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a Commissioning & Warranty Project Manager in Albuquerque to ensure seamless system start-ups and long-term client satisfaction across commercial HVAC projects.

Impact

• Deliver flawless equipment commissioning that reduces callbacks and strengthens client trust

• Oversee warranty workflows that protect project profitability and maintain manufacturer relationships

• Drive quality assurance processes that prevent costly rework and delays

• Build repeatable systems that scale commissioning excellence across multiple job sites

Responsibilities

• Manage commissioning schedules for commercial HVAC equipment installations

• Coordinate start-up procedures with manufacturers, contractors, and facility teams

• Oversee warranty documentation and claims processing for all mechanical systems

• Lead punch-list resolution and final acceptance walkthroughs

• Implement quality control checkpoints throughout installation and start-up phases

• Train operations staff on system functionality and preventive maintenance protocols

• Monitor post-installation performance to identify and resolve emerging issues

• Maintain detailed records of commissioning activities and warranty actions

Requirements
Must-Haves

• 5+ years in commercial HVAC project management or commissioning

• Experience managing equipment start-ups for chillers, boilers, or air handling systems

• Strong understanding of warranty processes and manufacturer protocols

• Proven track record coordinating multi-trade mechanical installations

• Excellent communication skills with clients, contractors, and technical teams

Nice-to-Haves

• OSHA 30 certification

• Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) or Building Commissioning Certification

• Experience with building automation systems integration

• Background in design-build or design-assist delivery methods
