Details Adult Med/Surg unit in an acute care hospital setting Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM 13-week contract Requirements Active OH or Compact RN license, currently in hand Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS Completion of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN) Ability to perform heavy-duty physical work, including exerting 50–100 lbs of force occasionally and frequent patient handling Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills required Additional Information Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care using the nursing process Administers medications and performs treatments, implements physician orders, and documents nursing care thoroughly and accurately Responsible for directing and delegating tasks to nursing assistants (NAs) as appropriate Must be able to manage urgent and high-stress situations calmly and communicate empathically with patients and families COVID-19 vaccination is not required for this position American Traveler Job ID P-729127.
