Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You'll be working part-time (10–15 hours per week) during the school year, starting in early September and continuing through the end of the academic year. The role will focus on a small caseload of three to five students, providing instruction and behavioral support tailored to their unique abilities, including those with intellectual disabilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid New Hampshire Special Education Teacher licensure required
• Demonstrated success working with students who have intellectual disabilities or behavioral support needs
• Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and adaptive curriculum strategies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with families, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Flexibility, empathy, and creativity in developing effective, engaging interventions

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction that aligns with IEP goals
• Implement evidence-based approaches for students with behavioral or intellectual challenges
• Track student progress, collect data, and make instructional adjustments as needed
• Work collaboratively with school teams, attending meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary planning
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
