Pharmacy Technician-RetailThe Pharmacy Technician-Retail at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland works under the lead supervision of a Pharmacist to provide services to Pharmacy customers. The Pharmacy Technician supports the Pharmacist in providing Pharmaceutical Care.Responsibilities:Receive written prescription or refill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate.Collect/enter appropriate method of payment from patrons for prescriptions, OTCs and non-pharmaceutical products purchased.Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs.Answers telephones, responding to questions or requests.Qualifications:Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college)MINIMUM 2 YRS EXPERIENCE AS PHARMACY TECH preferredMaryland Board of Pharmacy Technicians required.
