What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at transportation facilities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, parking areas, platforms, vehicles, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, check credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations according to established procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required logs, and follow applicable laws, post orders, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
