The Fountain Group is currently seeking an Assembler for a prominent client of ours located in Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 . Job Details Pay: $21.00 per hour Duration: 1-year contract Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Location: Onsite Position Overview The Assembler will assemble mechanical water valves in a manufacturing environment while ensuring quality, safety, and production goals are met. Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical water valves using hand and power tools. Perform quality inspections on completed products. Move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other equipment. Document production and inventory activity. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Qualifications Minimum 6 months assembly experience (2+ years preferred). Paint spraying experience highly preferred. Manufacturing experience required. Forklift experience a plus. Basic computer skills. High school diploma or GED required. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
