The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems based on engineering drawings and specifications. The role requires strong hands-on skills, precision, and the ability to follow detailed instructions to ensure high-quality assembly. Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical parts and components according to blueprints, engineering drawings, or schematics.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to complete assemblies.
- Perform inspections and tests on assembled components to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical assembly issues and perform rework if necessary.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to resolve technical problems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety standards.
- Document assembly processes and maintain records as required.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a mechanical assembler or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents.
- Skilled in using assembly tools, equipment, and mechanical measuring devices.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift components for extended periods.
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Familiarity with ISO or other quality standards in manufacturing.
- Forklift or crane operation certification is a plus.
- Manufacturing or shop floor environment.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
- May involve occasional lifting of heavy components (up to 50 lbs).
