This role focuses on the development, integration, and sustainment of large-scale modeling and simulation toolsets used for performance assessment and evaluation across crewed and uncrewed aviation systems. The position involves creating and supporting high-fidelity, real-time simulation capabilities and designing distributed simulation architectures that enable complex mission scenarios.What You'll DoDesign, develop, and maintain modeling and simulation software to support mission analysis, scenario development, and system performance assessmentsImplement integration solutions to connect simulation software with other models, tools, and system interfaces used across RTC programsCreate and customize simulation models that represent sensors, aircraft, communication systems, and other aviation-related componentsSupport all aspects of the Agile and Scrum software development processWork with a core group of software and simulation engineers to provide modeling and simulation solutions for government customersCoordinate software interfaces and align development efforts with systems engineering requirements activitiesRequirements and QualificationsBachelor's Degree from an accredited school in a technical discipline (engineering, science, computer science/engineering)Experience implementing algorithms for system behavior modeling, mission logic, or sensor and avionics representation within simulation softwareKnowledge of real-time simulation frameworks, military simulation systems, and modeling methodologiesStrong programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, or similar languagesExperience with software development environments utilizing Agile methodologiesUS citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance is requiredDesired QualificationsActive Secret clearance is preferredExperience working with established modeling and simulation tools such as CDS3, AFSIM, OneSAF, or similar systemsExperience with distributed simulation protocols including DIS, TENA, and HLAExperience in LVC (Live, Virtual, and Constructive) test and/or training environmentsExperience with US Army Aviation system modeling and simulation toolsWe Take Care of Our PeopleWhether you're looking to launch a new career or grow an existing one, Trideum is the type of company where you can balance great work with great life because we believe that taking care of our people is the right thing to do.
