Customer Service Rep - Hybrid

Provides customer services relating to sales, sales promotions, installations and communications. Ensures that good customer relations are maintained and customer claims and complaints are resolved fairly, effectively and in accordance with the consumer laws. Develops organization-wide initiatives to proactively inform and educate customers. Develops improvement plans in response to customer surveys. This position requires knowledge that is acquired through experience, specialized education or training. The role has clearly defined procedures and tasks as well as defined guidelines to aid in decision making. The job requires a basic understanding of work routines and procedures in own discipline. The technical procedures for this level are well defined. The job works within well-defined procedures that may involve a variety of work routines. This role coordinates intercompany shipments from our client's US facilities to our client's international facilities. Performs tasks such as PO management, order status communications, export documentation and transportation routing. Role interacts on a daily basis with our client's international partners, IBP, Distribution, Quality and other internal teams Duties: Order entry- Processes Intercompany orders for EDI or Manual orders PO Confirmation Order Maintenance for Business Rules - dating or splitting the lines Release Order Blocks Processes Customer returns - credits and rebills Prepares and distributes Export documents- invoices, AWB, COC etc.. Ensures adherence to export regulations and guidelines Provides back up to fellow team members Performs other duties as needed Single point of contact for intercompany shipments Processes intercompany orders Collaborates with Supply Planning to secure inventory for intercompany customers Ensures products are registered in destination country Arranges cost effective transportation that meets the customer requirements Prepares and distributes export documentation Supports red and white shipments Ensures adherence to export regulations Processes returns and customer credits Adheres to IATA regulations for dangerous goods shipments Assists to prepare reports as required Sedentary work: exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, etc. Generally involves sitting most the time Must be able to effectively and positively communicate with internal and external customers Must be able to handle multiple priorities Ability to work well with others and maintain a service orientation commitment Must be able to complete their work with limited supervision and regularly provide guidance/support Must Have: Ability to learn quickly, self-management Accountability Nice to Have: SAP experience Experience working remotely Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of supply chain experience preferred Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communication in the resolution of Accounts Receivable areas of opportunities. Requires the ability to solve problems independently. Able to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to work well under pressure and demonstrate a sense of urgency with all tasks. Ability to effectively handle conflict resolution. Resourcefulness and initiative in communicating to meet customer demands.
