We are seeking a dedicated RN with experience in telemetry and acute care to join our night shift team. This role is integral in ensuring the highest standard of care and efficient patient management across departments.

 

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs.
• Identify and address nursing and discharge needs; evaluate and adjust care plans as needed.
• Accurately transcribe and carry out physician orders; administer medications following the 5 “rights”.
• Initiate and manage IV therapy; prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Coordinate patient care across departments (e.g., lab, radiology) and with Case Managers to support efficient discharge and continuity of care.

 

Requirements

• 2 years or more experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited program in nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of NJ.
• Certifications required: BLS (American Heart Association).
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support preferred.
