ReFocus Eye Health is seeking a driven Provider Recruiter to support provider hiring across our growing network of practices. This is an individual contributor, sourcing-focused role primarily responsible for Optometrist (OD) recruitment, while also providing sourcing support for select physician opportunities across key ophthalmology specialties, including retina and comprehensive ophthalmology.

The Provider Recruiter will focus on candidate identification, outreach, screening, pipeline development, interview coordination, and relationship building. This position works under the direction of Physician Recruitment leadership and does not independently own the overall physician recruitment strategy or function. This role will be an individual contributor and not be responsible for any direct reports.

The ideal candidate is a proactive recruiter who enjoys sourcing, building relationships, and developing strong provider pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

Provider Recruitment & Sourcing

· Lead sourcing and pipeline development for Optometrist (OD) opportunities across ReFocus practices.

· Support candidate sourcing for priority physician opportunities and ophthalmology specialties as directed by Physician Recruitment leadership.

· Identify and engage active and passive candidates through recruiting platforms, direct outreach, referrals, and school/training program partnerships.

· Conduct initial candidate screens to assess experience, interests, geographic preferences, and overall fit.

· Support candidates through the sourcing and interview stages, escalating offer-related discussions and closing activities to Physician Recruitment leadership.

· Coordinate interviews, practice visits, and candidate follow-up.

· Partner with Physician Recruitment leadership and internal stakeholders to understand current provider hiring needs and sourcing priorities.

· Maintain accurate candidate pipelines and track sourcing activity and recruiting metrics.

· Maintain accurate and timely candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Events & Relationship Building

· Support recruiting events, conferences, residency/fellowship programs, and optometry school engagement.

· Build relationships with optometry schools, training programs, and other sources of provider talent.

· Represent ReFocus at select recruiting and industry events as directed by Physician Recruitment leadership.

· Travel approximately 15–20% as needed.

This position is an individual contributor role primarily focused on OD recruitment and provider sourcing. The Provider Recruiter:

· Does not manage the Physician Recruitment function, team members, budget, or overall recruitment strategy.

· Does not oversee provider onboarding or own the full-cycle physician recruitment function.

· Does not develop, approve, or negotiate Letters of Intent, employment agreements, compensation packages, or other offer terms.

· Supports physician sourcing, candidate communication, and closing activities under the direction of Physician Recruitment leadership.[SM1] [SR2] 

Qualifications

· 5+ years of recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition experience; healthcare experience preferred.

· Strong sourcing skills and experience engaging passive candidates.

· Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.

· Ability to manage multiple searches and candidate pipelines simultaneously.

· Experience with ATS and recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn, PracticeMatch, PracticeLink, or Doximity preferred.

· Willingness to travel approximately 15–20%.
