Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role involves working within a complex care unit handling medicine, ortho overflow, and complex long-term patients. Candidates will need to effectively utilize EPIC for charting and should be comfortable working in a tertiary care hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

• Monitoring and interpretation of telemetry data
• Engaging in complex care unit functions for medicine and ortho patients
• Managing feeding tube care and blood product administration
• Administering central and peripheral line care
• Starting IVs and executing heparin protocols
• Providing tracheostomy management and wound care
• Handling isolation precautions and participating in rapid response/code teams

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

• Current NY license in hand
• Current certifications in BLS and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system
• Previous charge experience required
