Entry Level Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join its dynamic legal team in Tulsa, OK. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in the legal field. The Associate will assist with various legal tasks, including research, drafting documents, and supporting attorneys in case preparation across multiple areas of law. Duties Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support ongoing cases. Assist in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and contracts. Support attorneys in litigation processes by organizing case files and preparing exhibits. Engage in negotiations and communications with clients and opposing parties under attorney supervision. Maintain accurate records of case progress and deadlines within the law office environment. Collaborate with team members on various legal matters, including estate planning, family law, and more. Participate in client meetings and take notes to assist in case strategy development. Requirements Law degree from an accredited law school. Oklahoma bar association member. Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents. Familiarity with legal terminology and concepts across various practice areas is a plus. Experience with legal research tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Previous legal administrative experience or internships are advantageous but not required.
