This person will thrive in a collaborative environment and take ownership of their responsibilities./ph3Position Overview/h3pDuring the full-service oil change, the lube technician is responsible for servicing and inspecting the complete underside of the vehicle quickly, safely, and accurately. The lube technician must pay careful attention to that only the proper gaskets and drain plugs are installed, the vehicle is greased, the gear boxes checked, the oil filter is tight, and there are no leaks after installation./ph3Essential Duties and Responsibilities/h3ulliWork safely, wear safety gear, keep work area clean and organized. Protect service bay area when not occupied by vehicle./liliPerform visual inspection of vehicle undercarriage, document any unusual conditions/liliObtain correct oil filter, drain oil, inspect oil drain plug and gasket. Replace bottom-side oil filter, when applicable/liliPerform additional services, such as fuel filters, transmissions and differentials, when applicable/liliAssist with performing pressure and leak check/liliPerform visual inspection of belts, hoses, and other hood compartment components, document unusual conditions. Assist with performing pressure and leak check/liliLubricate chassis, when applicable Install a tamper seal on all plugs/liliAssist with final safety and quality check/li/ulh3Job Qualifications/h3ulliCustomer service skills Basic literacy (ready, writing, math skills) Verbal communication skills/liliAbility and license to operate motor vehicles/liliAbility to properly use mechanical hand tools/liliAttention to detail/liliPrevious experience or training - Minimum 3 months actual experience or supervised training as a lube technician required./li/ulh3Benefits/h3ulliMedical Insurance/liliDental and Vision Insurance/liliPaid Sick Leave and Vacation Time/li/ul/div
