Warehouse Associate

Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring for Tech Warehouse Associates in Walbridge, OH. As a Warehouse Associate for Cardinal Staffing, you will work in a distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including shipping and receiving, quality assurance, inventory control, and assisting with correcting any technical issues arising from imaging. Additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or team lead.

This position will require candidates to be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members! All employees are offered competitive compensation ($16/hour) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include 1st shift, 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare documents before the shipment, such as shipping orders or bills of lading to route materials while maintaining an organized shipping and receiving area.
• Packing, sealing, and labeling the merchandise for distribution
• Visually inspect contents of merchandise before it is shipped for damage.
• Ensure the order matches the items, quantities, and the addresses appropriately.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties and report any unsafe work area conditions.

Required Qualifications of the Warehouse Associate (General Laborers):

• Applicant will be expected to stand for several hours at a time.
• Applicant will be expected to lift boxes in excess of 30lbs on a repetitive basis.
• Must be willing to work overtime if needed to ensure orders are processed
• High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
• Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Computer repair and diagnostics (optional)
• Excel and Office Suite Experience (optional)
