Barista / General Food Service

Creative Dining Services at University Of Saint Francis is currently looking for a Barista / General Food Service for both our retail locations. This is a part-time position. We are seeking versatile cross-location team members (Barista & General Food Service) to support two of our retail concepts: our vibrant coffee shop and our made-to-order deli. Responsibilities may vary, depending on location of work or where employee is needed.

Core Responsibilities of the General Food Service Worker:

Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service, creating a positive experience for every guest.

Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages and food items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and food safety guidelines.

Operate cash registers, point-of-sale systems, and credit card machines accurately while following all cash-handling procedures.

Serve food and beverages while ensuring proper portion sizes and presentation standards.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including counters, equipment, floors, dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and service ware.

Collect and dispose of trash and recycling in designated areas.

Monitor food temperatures and assist with safe food handling procedures.

Follow all company policies, safety standards, and health regulations.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

High School graduate or equivalent preferred
Basic reading and math skills
Must be able to communicate and understand primary language(s) use by guests who typically visit the work location
