Details Work in a multidisciplinary ICU at an academic hospital setting in Washington, DC Patient population includes neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients Technology utilized includes ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, CRRT, gastric tubes, and IV infusion pumps Charting in Cerner EMR Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week with AM/PM rotation 36 hours per week Requirements Active DC RN license required (no pending licenses accepted) Active US SSN required Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in a US hospital required Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA-issued only) CPI certification required Cerner EMR experience required Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required BSN highly desired Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer Date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Provides a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements Candidates must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position Candidates who have previously worked at this facility as permanent employees may not be eligible American Traveler Job ID P-711934.
