Details Work in a multidisciplinary Intensive Care Unit (ICU) providing care for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients Utilizes advanced critical care technology including ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, CRRT, gastric tubes, and IV infusion pumps 3x12-hour shifts on an AM/PM rotation Cerner EMR experience required Requirements Active DC RN license required, no pending licenses accepted BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA certifications only) Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required Minimum 3 years of Cerner charting experience required Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required BSN highly desired At least 2 years of prior work experience in a US hospital in the ICU specialty required Two manager or supervisor references verifying experience within the previous 12 months preferred, with at least one from the most recent employer US SSN required for consideration Additional Information Perform a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements Provide care for critically ill patients using specialized critical care equipment and technology Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered American Traveler Job ID P-747449.
