Responsibilities Generating and simulating operational level plans to explore the art of the possible, how we could defend the ultimate high ground in a future space war Dynamically optimizing both terrestrial and space‑based sensors to provide comprehensive space domain awareness Strategically optimizing the placement and maneuvering of constellations of satellites to satisfy multiple, evolving priorities Basic Qualifications Recent experience in software development using JavaScript, Node.js, and Java for full‑stack development Recent JavaScript library experience with web‑based components (e.g., Lit, React, Angular) Experience with Git/GitLab/Git Bash for software version control Experience with CI/CD – Deployment pipelines, automated build, and configuration tools Experience with application containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher, etc.) in a cloud environment (AWS/Azure/Openstack/Openshift) Experience working in an Agile development environment, using tools such as Jira and Confluence Bachelor’s degree in a computer science, computer engineering, other engineering discipline, or equivalent experience Familiarity with software test best practices, including unit test, integration test, and end‑to‑end test US Citizenship Required: No clearance required to start but must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance Desired Skills Experience with API design and development, such as RESTful APIs Knowledge of database management systems, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL Experience with microservices and microservice architecture Experience with SpringBoot or Quarkus for backend Java development Experience with LIT for JS front‑end Experience with HTML/CSS Experience with Helm charts for infrastructure as code (IaC) Familiarity with the Space Domain Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment Experience in running unit tests with Playwright and/or integration testing with Cucumber Experience working on large‑scale software projects with multiple teams and stakeholders Security Clearance Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
