Customer Service Representative

Expected First-Year Compensation: $50,000–$60,000 Start a Career in Insurance Our State Farm independent contractor agency is hiring a Customer Service Representative to join our team. The selected candidate may work from either our Staten Island, NY office or our Bayonne, NJ office . No previous insurance experience is required. We are looking for someone who communicates well, stays organized, enjoys helping people, and wants an opportunity to build a professional career. We provide hands‑on training and support to help you obtain the required insurance licenses. What You'll Do Help customers with billing, policy, and account questions Process policy changes and customer service requests Respond to customers by phone, text, and email Explain insurance coverage and available options Follow up on outstanding customer needs Assist with claims‑related questions and next steps Maintain accurate customer records Identify potential coverage gaps and additional insurance needs Work with our team to improve customer satisfaction and retention What We’re Looking For Strong communication and customer service skills Organized, dependable, and detail‑oriented Comfortable speaking with customers by phone Able to multitask and solve problems Comfortable learning new technology and systems Coachable, team‑oriented, and interested in professional growth Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, banking, an office environment, or a call center is helpful but not required .

• 42,000–$48,000 base salary , based on experience
• 50,000–$60,000 expected first‑year total compensation
