Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical night shift position requiring Cerner proficiency and active Ohio RN licensure.

Details

• Medical/Surgical unit in a hospital setting
• Night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Floating required on a rotation basis in accordance with hospital policy and the candidate's clinical experience
• 21-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license (or compact license) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted and highly preferred — no radius restrictions apply
• Time off requests should be kept to a minimum; any approved time off must be arranged prior to the assignment start
• Holiday coverage is expected
• Former permanent or full-time employees must have been separated from the facility for a minimum of 5 years to be eligible
• This is a smoke- and nicotine-free facility
• There is a possibility that the traveler may be offered a permanent position following the assignment
