Claims Processing Specialist

Claims Processing Specialist

LaSalle Network is recruiting on behalf of a premier organization to bring on a Claims Processing Specialist for their downtown Chicago team! Responsibilities include processing up to 200 medical claims daily after training, reviewing and verifying insurance benefits eligibility, particularly for Blue Cross, submitting and auditing CMS 1500 claim forms, and maintaining prompt attendance, arriving by 7:45 AM daily.

Qualifications include previous experience in medical claims processing, familiarity with Blue Cross and other commercial insurers, strong working knowledge of CMS 1500 forms, and Spanish-speaking ability is a plus. Reliable commute to the Chicago office (River North) is required, with public transit highly encouraged. Must successfully pass a background check.

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Compensation: $19 – $20 hourly Benefits (Contract): LaSalle Network consultants are eligible to enroll in benefits.
