Supply Chain Specialist

Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain & Purchasing Specialist to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role combines responsibilities across purchasing, production planning, and supply chain coordination, including managing supplier relationships, maintaining BOMs, supporting production schedules, and leveraging ERP systems to drive efficiency and data accuracy. Responsibilities • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts. • Maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs) and ensure accuracy. • Support production schedules and coordinate with manufacturing teams. • Leverage ERP systems to track materials, data, and process improvements. Qualifications & Skills Strong analytical skills. Experience working with global suppliers. Proficiency with purchasing, procurement, and logistics processes. Data entry proficiency. Inventory management & demand forecasting experience. Import/export compliance knowledge (customs, trade regulations). Supplier negotiation & cost optimization skills. Process improvement mindset (Lean, Six Sigma is a plus). Technical aptitude with manufacturing drawings or prints. Project coordination or product lifecycle support experience. Experience working in cross‑functional environments (ops, engineering, finance). Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Andersonville, TN.
