Senior VFD and Electric Motor Technician - Denver, CO

Energy Management Corporation (EMC) is seeking an experienced Senior VFD and Electric Motor Technician to join our Denver-based service team. EMC has been a trusted leader in industrial automation for over 46 years, specializing in electric motors, VFDs, and industrial drive systems. This position is ideal for a highly skilled technician who can work independently, troubleshoot complex industrial equipment, and provide exceptional customer support in the field. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial motors, VFDs, and drive systems Diagnose electrical and mechanical failures using diagnostic tools and software Perform equipment start-ups and warranty service Serve as a mentor for junior technicians and help train Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Communicate repair recommendations and technical findings with customers and management Maintain accurate service records, time reporting, and inventory on assigned service truck Support emergency service calls and participate in rotating 24/7 on-call schedule Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment at customer sites Occasional overnight and weekend travel required.
