CT Technologist

Role Performs computerized tomographic radiographs following established practices, reviews exams for clinical appropriateness, and communicates critical situations effectively. Supports new employee orientation, maintains necessary credentials, and may perform general radiology or lab testing as needed. Responsibilities Utilizes critical thinking and clinical reasoning to manage imaging processes, prioritizes patient care, and escalates concerns appropriately. Creates a compassionate environment, educates patients, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to optimize exam flow and resource utilization. Ensures safety protocols, conducts necessary safety checks, and documents events accurately. Promotes cultural sensitivity, supports patient self-care education, and contributes to staff development. Adheres to evidence-based practices, maintains technical competency, and participates in quality and community initiatives. Qualifications & Skills ARRT certification, NM CT License or Provisional License, and current BLS certification are required. Strong communication, clinical judgment, safety awareness, and teamwork skills are essential.
