CT Technologist

Role: Performs computerized tomographic (CT) radiographs, reviews exams for clinical appropriateness, and ensures patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities: Utilizes critical thinking and evidence-based guidelines to manage imaging procedures, communicates effectively with patients and the multidisciplinary team, and educates patients about procedures. Maintains safety protocols, performs quality checks, and documents events accurately. Supports new employee orientation and contributes to a supportive environment promoting healing and cultural sensitivity. Manages resources efficiently to meet patient needs, assesses safety issues, and participates in quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Skills: ARRT certification, NM CT license or provisional license, and current BLS required. Demonstrates clinical reasoning, effective communication, patient-centered care, and teamwork. Maintains credentials and stays current with protocols and technology. Emphasizes continuous learning, accountability, and safety in practice.
