Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced Employment Law Attorney in Houston, Texas. This role offers the chance to represent clients in diverse employment law matters within a collaborative team. The position is in‑office, with potential for hybrid work based on performance and business needs. Responsibilities Manage employment law matters from intake through resolution. Advise clients on workplace rights and compliance issues. Draft legal documents including pleadings and settlement agreements. Conduct legal research and develop case strategies. Handle administrative claims before agencies such as the EEOC. Take and defend depositions, attend mediations, and represent clients at hearings. Maintain consistent client communication and provide strategic counsel. Collaborate with attorneys and staff for efficient case management. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Active license and good standing with the State Bar. 3+ years of employment law experience preferred. Experience with discrimination, harassment, and related claims. Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills. Ability to manage a caseload independently while working in a team. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active license and good standing with the State Bar. Skills Strong legal writing and research skills.
