A leading non-profit health system in a stunning coastal California community is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Oncology to join their team. This direct hire opportunity offers the chance to practice advanced clinical oncology pharmacy in both inpatient and outpatient infusion settings within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive medication management including lab ordering, therapy selection, and adverse event monitoring
• Verify chemotherapy orders and protocols for safety, dosage accuracy, and appropriateness
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, managing side effects and improving medication adherence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during clinical rounds to optimize patient care
• Participate in clinical trials, manage investigational drug protocols, and develop institutional oncology guidelines

Qualifications:

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree required
• Eligibility for California pharmacist licensure
• Completion of PGY2 oncology residency or fellowship, or PGY1 plus 3 years oncology clinical specialist experience, or 5 years of oncology clinical specialist experience
• Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) preferred

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, day shifts
