Arthritis And Allergy Associates LLC is looking for a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated healthcare team in Dover, NJ. Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a professional and compassionate manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking messages and responding to patient inquiries
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service
• Maintain and update accurate patient records in the EHR/EMR system
• Coordinate referrals and communicate with insurance providers as needed
• Ensure the front desk and waiting area remain organized and welcoming

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a medical receptionist or in a healthcare front desk role preferred
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling software
• Knowledge of medical insurance verification and billing processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical setting
• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical office certification a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills a plus but not required
